profile of Alex Bosak, owner and driver of Bosak Family
Racing;
Alex has well over twenty years experience
in local drag racing as a driver, mechanic and crewmember.
He has assisted many other race teams at events that his
car was unable to be entered. He has more than 25 years
of automotive repair and management experience and for
the last 20+ years has owned his own automotive accessory
store.
Alex started racing in 1985 with a 1972 Dodge Demon in
the Street Class. Within three years, upgrading to a 1968
Dodge Dart running Pro Class. After four successful seasons
in Pro, a 1972 Dart was built to compete in the Super
Pro Class. Once again achieving success in a short period
of time the team realized that technology in drag racing
is advancing rapidly, so to stay competitive we have purchased
a former pro stock 1992 Dodge Daytona that will allow
us to run in Super Pro, Super Gas and Quick 16 competition. |
Bosak Family
Racing has been together for 20 years with a crew consisting
of family and friends that understands teamwork is essential
for winning. Many improvements have been made throughout
these years. Bosak Family Racing was very excited to introduce
our RJ Pro Stock 2002 Dodge Neon in 2008. Since then the
car has been completely rebuilt both mechanically and
also cosmetically with a crowd pleasing paint scheme.
In 2008 we assembled a new 1200hp motor. This will open
the door for more available classes and events to qualify
